Where our Service is used by businesses to conduct their own customer campaigns, those businesses act as the Responsible Party for their end-users' personal information. Angineered Systems acts as the Operator in such instances, processing data on their behalf in accordance with POPIA. Any such processing is governed by a data processing agreement or equivalent terms between Angineered Systems and the relevant business client.
All third-party processors are required to handle your personal information in accordance with POPIA and applicable data protection standards.
Your personal information is stored on servers located in Germany, operated by our hosting provider Hostking. Germany is subject to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which provides an adequate and equivalent level of data protection to that required under POPIA. We are satisfied that your personal information is appropriately protected in this jurisdiction.
Messages sent via WhatsApp are additionally processed by Meta Platforms on infrastructure located outside South Africa. Please refer to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy for details.
Our web application uses session cookies solely for authentication purposes. These cookies are temporary, expire when you close your browser, and are not used to track your behaviour or serve advertising. No third-party tracking or analytics cookies are currently used.

Our Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. As WhatsApp requires users to be at least 13 years old, any user between 13 and 17 must have obtained parental or guardian consent before using our Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via our website and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
